My themes are horses from the Mughal Empire, birds, hares, gardens and interiors.

I use gesso in some of my work in conjunction with oil paint, acrylic, watercolour and gold leaf. I particularly love the effect of craquelure.

Everything is hand-painted and the border patterns are highly textured. I use deep canvases, the sides are also painted and in some works the painting continues over the sides. None of my paintings need to be framed and they're all ready to hang.
